About the Position
We are seeking an energetic, faith-filled preschool lead teacher for our 3-year-old program and multi-age STREAM program beginning January 7, 2019. The primary role of a preschool lead teacher is instructing students in a developmentally appropriate way according to the Michigan Early Childhood Standards of Quality and creating a fun, faith-filled educational environment. The position follows the regular school schedule and calendar (Tuesday/Thursday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM). Compensation will be commensurate with experience.

Create a caring, faith-filled, safe environment for learning
Incorporate and actively engage students in developmentally appropriate activities
Provide individual, small group, and whole group instruction
Incorporate STREAM activities into afternoon programming
Adhere to State of Michigan LARA rules and regulations
Participate in at least 16 hours professional development training annually
Preferred start date of December 17, 2019, in order to shadow current teacher
Bachelor’s degree in child development or early childhood education with specialization in preschool teaching, bachelor’s degree in early childhood and a ZA Endorsement on Michigan Teaching Certificate OR a valid Michigan teaching certificate with a CDA
Experience working with children in a classroom setting
First Aid and Adult/Child CPR certification
Caring and nurturing attitude towards children
Commitment to fostering the faith of the children
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Candidate should be a practicing Catholic and uphold the teachings of the Catholic Church
Pass a background and criminal history check

Corpus Christi Catholic School would love to have you as a guest teacher! This position would allow you to spend time with our students, caring for them and guiding them through their educational pursuits. Some teaching experience is preferred but not required. Demonstrated experience with children is a must. Some college experience is required; applicants with college degrees are preferred. Applicants should be willing to be Virtus trained and agree to a background check.

About the Position
The Enrollment Director manages and tracks potential students to predict and encourage enrollment. S/he will:
Build an active database of all Catholic children within appropriate school ages that are sacramental registered in one of the two parishes in school’s contact relationship management software in school office
Add and manage relevant information about parents, family, contact info, etc.
Lead tours and communicate with potential families via phone, email, or in person, answering questions knowledgeably about the school
Work with the Marketing Committee, school and parish staff, and various other board/parent committees to organize and coordinate a multi-phase contact pipeline
Tracking initial contact with the families through progressive levels of engagement, until family makes a final decision
Coordinate and record activity and serves as a central node of data and communication in CCCS’ various efforts to promote the school and recruit families.
Gather feedback from those making direct contacts with potential student families to update the pipeline data.
Create monthly formal reports and be prepared to give informal reports as needed.
Communicate regularly and effectively with other stakeholders on what materials, content, or activities are effectively engaging potential families and recommend/request updates or changes.
A desirable applicant will have the following experience and attributes:
Demonstrated experience in sales management
Detail-oriented and self-motivated
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated experience with confidential information and discretion
Demonstrated proficiency in English and Spanish, Vietnamese preferred
Demonstrated capability in contact relationship management software
Practicing Catholic and model of faith and Church teachings
This is a part-time, contract position, reporting three days per week for a total of 10-12 hours per week. This position will last from January 13, 2020 through August 28, 2020, at which point effectiveness will be evaluated and continuation will be determined. This position reports to the principal.
