Main Office

A note from the principal:

Morning and After Care:
Please note, we are happy to offer morning and after care for students, but please do not drop your children off prior to 7:30 AM. Open Gym and Open Library do not begin until 7:30 am.
The building is not staffed appropriately until this time.

Additionally, if students are not picked up for the day by 3:40 PM, they will be taken to our after-care program and you will incur a drop-in charge of $6/hour.  Be reminded that all children attending After-Care MUST have the proper documentation on fileincluding paid registration fees. This is a licensed program through the State of Michigan and all rules must be met prior to any child attending. If you think you will need this service at any point and time stop by the office and fill out the paperwork.

Be mindful that our main office is not staffed to care for multiple students after school as we often have meetings and other responsibilities at this time, and we cannot provide proper supervision for the safety of your children. Thank you for your understanding and compliance.

Volunteers/Parent Visitors:

  1. Stop in the front office and say “Hi!”
  2. Sign in at the kiosk across from the front office door.
  3. Write your name on the visitor sticker and affix it to your shirt!

We also thank the teams from St. Francis DeSales, Our Lady of the Lake, Sturgis, and Grand Rapids for participating in the first soccer tournament held at Corpus Christi.  Congratulations to St. Francis De Sales on winning the second place trophy!  We look forward to building on this event next year.

Home and School:
Box Tops for Education: There is a new box in the parent room (to the left of the conference room) where you may deposit box tops. Several products are phasing out of the clip-able box tops and moving toward scanning receipts with a phone app. It really is easy! Simply download the Box Tops for Education app on your smart phone, when developing a sign in you will be prompted to choose a school.

Once set up, you are able to take a picture of your grocery store receipt and the app quickly credits the school for any box tops products you purchased. If you are not “techy” or do not have the capability of app use, you may still participate in this easy way to earn money for our school! Place your store receipt(s) in the Box Tops for Education box and we will take care of the rest! Please reach out with any questions! Erin Kasprzak-erinclarke59@hotmail.com

We are excited about
Megan Swank
3 yr. Preschool & STREAM Lead teacher

“We are excited to have Megan join our Early Childhood Team. Megan is highly organized, energetic, and enthusiastic which is the perfect combination for preschool! She also is excited to share our faith in the Atrium in the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd program.”- Amy Plackowski, Preschool Director

Megan began her teaching career in 2014 after receiving her teaching certification through Texas Teachers. In the past she has taught 4’s Preschool, 4th Grade and Kindergarten in the Dallas/Fort Worth, TX area.

Mrs. Swank and her husband relocated back to Michigan in 2017 to come home to her hometown and be closer to family to raise their son and daughter. She spent a year teaching in Grand Rapids as an EL Teacher to 2nd-5th grade students as her certification was through Early Childhood-6th grade with an endorsement in English as a Second Language. Growing up as a first-generation born Vietnamese-American, she felt pulled to the EL students since she was considered one herself in grade school.

She is excited to be back at Corpus Christi as a teacher! She attended CCCS when it first opened as a 3rd Grade student and completed 3’s Preschool-2nd Grade at St. Francis De Sales.
