Ian Worthington

Ian graduated from CCCS in 2014 and continued his faith based education at Catholic Central High School where his favorite subjects included math, physics, and economics.  Ian also participated in many extracurriculars including Varsity Tennis, Math Team, Model UN, Robotics, and Debate. His honors include Tennis State Finalist and Champion, National Honor Society, AP Scholar, and Salutatorian of his class.

Ian continued his faith journey through joining Peer Ministry at CC.  He is confident that learning about Catholic doctrine in middle school provided a solid foundation of faith that carried forward at Catholic Central.

Ian plans to attend Notre Dame in the fall, majoring in Mechanical Engineering with hopes of ultimately working for a defense contractor after graduation.

Reflecting on his experience at Corpus Christi, Ian believes that he was well prepared for high school, particularly in English and History, and has this advice for other students:  “Try hard freshman year. Join lots of clubs, get involved, and go to social events.”
