Reading Month 2017

Reading Month has started and run throughout the month of March.  We will have a variety of Reading Celebrations in our different programs and grade levels.  Our theme this year is  Reading around the World.  We will be highlighting different cultures throughout the month.  We love to have different traditions and languages shared with our students.  If you are available, kindly contact Megan Koster at to schedule.Highlights:Book Fair – Tuesday, March 7 – a representative from Herrick Library will assist parents/students in signing up for a library card.  She will be bringing an activity table each day to help encourage reading (3:15 – 4:30) Poetry Writing – Lisa Doublestein will be working with students in grades 1 – 3 on writing Poetry.  She will be in every Thursday during the month from 10:15 – 10:45 am. Screenwriting – Lisa Doublestein will be sharing her gifts and talents with students in grades 5 – 8 every Thursday during the month of March – from 11:40 AM – 2:40 PM
