Annual Middle School Team-building Retreat

Annual Middle School Team-building Retreat

Middle School Retreat Camp Geneva 2019
On September 20, the Corpus Christi Middle School went on a retreat to Camp Geneva in Holland, Michigan. Camp Geneva is divided into two areas: Pines and Shores. Most of the retreat took place at Pines. On this retreat, the middle schoolers were split up into four mixed age groups consisting of fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students. In these groups, they participated in several types of team building exercises.
What an amazing day . . . the Michigan weather even cooperated.
We learned that we always need to be leaders and help people get through things that may be difficult, so that someone can count on you to help them through a tough time. When the middle schoolers arrived back at school they loaded off the bus, then had a little break. After the break, the middle schoolers went to their last class of the day. At their last class, they talked about the trip and what leadership is and why faith is important for leadership.
