We look forward to our new Kindergarten classes this fall and getting to know your child.   We hope that your child is excited as well.  As your child’s teachers\, our goal is to work with you to make the transition to Kindergarten as easy as possible. \nTo help with this transition\, your child will participate in Kindergarten Welcome Camp at Corpus Christi Catholic School on Tuesday\, August 21 and Wednesday\, August 22\, from 8:30-11:30 AM.  This is an opportunity for your child to meet us\, his or her classmates\, and participate in a variety of fun activities with the help of Outdoor Discovery Center.  This time also allows your child to become comfortable with our classroom and school building while learning daily routines.  Your child may wear shorts and comfortable shoes for the camp (no flip flops) as we will be having some outdoor activities.  We will have our first full day of Kindergarten on Thursday\, August 23. When your child comes to Kindergarten Welcome Camp\, please have him/her bring a water bottle with his/her name on it. We will provide a snack during the camp. \nPlease have your child bring in a 4 x 6 family picture\, for us to display in our classroom. DESCRIPTION:Vacation Bible School (VBS) \nwith St. Francis de Sales Church and Corpus Christi School \nShipwrecked!  Rescued by Jesus / Rescatado por Jesús \nJuly 30 – August 3\, 2018 \n6:00 p.m – 8:00 p.m. each day\nNew this year!  Corpus Christi Catholic School and St. Francis de Sales are working together to offer a week of fun and spiritual growth!  Program will take place at the school (12100 Quincy St.) \nDepending on volunteer response and family requests\, we plan to offer two simultaneous sessions: one in Spanish and one in English\n \n​ \n  \nRegistration\n\nOnline registration for Vacation Bible School.\nOnline volunteer interest form for VBS 2018 (be sure to check Vacation Bible School as your program of interest)\nPrintable registration form for Vacation Bible School.\nPrintable volunteer form for VBS 2018\n\n  \n\nFor more information about Vacation Bible School 2018\, please contact Susan Bippley (sbippley@stfrancisholland.org or 616-392-6700\, ext 115)\nWelcoming all Bilingual\, English-speaking\, and Spanish-speaking volunteers and participants! \nVacation Bible School 2017:\nThe theme for 2017’s VBS was SonSpark Labs.  The week was an exciting one for both participants and volunteers and we had a great week of fun and spiritual growth.\nOver 50 children (kindergarten through 5th grade) participated in the week\nOver 30 adults and teens answered the call to serve\nFamilies donated nearly 40 pounds of raisins to use in trail mix for Kids’ Food Basket\, our service outreach for the week!  On Thursday morning\, participating children packed 135 pounds (approximately 1000 snack bags) of trail mix and decorated sack supper bags. \nPhotos from Vacation Bible School 2017
