We look forward to our new Kindergarten classes this fall and getting to know your child.   We hope that your child is excited as well.  As your child’s teachers\, our goal is to work with you to make the transition to Kindergarten as easy as possible. \nTo help with this transition\, your child will participate in Kindergarten Welcome Camp at Corpus Christi Catholic School on Tuesday\, August 21 and Wednesday\, August 22\, from 8:30-11:30 AM.  This is an opportunity for your child to meet us\, his or her classmates\, and participate in a variety of fun activities with the help of Outdoor Discovery Center.  This time also allows your child to become comfortable with our classroom and school building while learning daily routines.  Your child may wear shorts and comfortable shoes for the camp (no flip flops) as we will be having some outdoor activities.  We will have our first full day of Kindergarten on Thursday\, August 23. When your child comes to Kindergarten Welcome Camp\, please have him/her bring a water bottle with his/her name on it. We will provide a snack during the camp. \nPlease have your child bring in a 4 x 6 family picture\, for us to display in our classroom. Esperamos con ansias nuestas nuevas clases de Kinder este Otoño y conocer a su hijo. Esperamos que su niño(a) esté emocionado(a) también. Como maestras de sus niños\, nuestro objetivo es trabajar con usted para hacer que la transición al Kinder sea lo mas fácil posible. \nPara ayudar con esta transición\, su niño(a) participará en el Campamento de Bienvenida de Kinder en la Escuela Católica Corpus Christi el Martes 21 de Agosto y el Miércoles 22 de Agosto de 8:30 a 11:30 AM.  Esta es una oportunidad para que su niño(a) nos conozca\, conozca sus compañeros de clase y participe en una variedad de divertidas actividades con la ayuda de Outdoor Discovery Center.  Este momento también le permite a su niño(a) sentirse cómodo(a) en nuestro salón de clases y construir escuela mientras aprende las rutinas diarias. Su niño(a) puede usar pantalones cortos y zapatos cómodos para el campamento (no chancletas) ya que tendremos algunas actividades al aire libre. Tendremos nuestro primer día completo de Kinder el Jueves\, 23 de Agosto. Cuando su niño(a) venga al Campamento de Bienvenida de Kinder\, por favor\, haga que él o ella traiga su botella de agua marcada con su nombre. Proporcionaremos merienda durante el campamento. \nPor favor\, haga que su niño traiga una foto familiar de 4 x 6 para exhibirla en nuestro salón de clases. Ésto ayuda a que su niño(a) se sienta cómodo cuando él/ella vea una foto suya en momentos en que lo extraña\, especialmente al comienzo del año escolar.
