Knowledge

Corpus Christi Catholic School offers an excellent academic program that is fully accredited by the Michigan Association of Non-Public Schools Accrediting Association (MNSAA).

  • Our students’ MAP scores exceed most local, state, and national averages.  Students receive focused training in the core subjects of science, reading, language arts, mathematics, and social studies.
  • Our outstanding curriculum includes Spanish, physical education, art, choral music, band, and technology.
  • Some of our extracurricular activities include athletics, student newspaper, Spelling Bees, Law Day, chess club, and drama.
  • Special programs for students who excel and students who struggle enhance student learning.  Individual needs are continually reviewed and supported.

Faith

Our faith is deeply rooted at Corpus Christi Catholic School. Catholicism is not just a subject; it is the way of preparing our children with values and faith for the challenges of life.

  • Our chapel is in the “heart” of our facility, drawing our school community together for all-school, classroom, and individual opportunities to reflect, pray, and celebrate our faith.
  • Sacramental preparation and training for Reconciliation, First Communion and Confirmation are integral parts of the second and eighth grade religious curriculum.
  • Catechesis of the Good Shepherd program offered for levels 1, 2, and 3

Character

Corpus Christi Catholic School provides character-building experiences that develop a firm belief in human dignity and social responsibility.

  • Students learn that all people are created in God’s image. We honor our Creator by treating His people with respect and dignity.
  • Students are provided countless opportunities and continual guidance to learn to make choices based on values and morals.
  • Students practice and grow in these values in their daily school life, as well as on field trips, in service projects, and at academic and athletic competitions.
  • G.R.A.C.E.A.C., our diocesan athletic association, provides athletic participation in football, volleyball, soccer, cross country, basketball, track, baseball, softball, and competitive cheer for students in grades 5-8.
  • Students learn and practice leadership skills in a variety of settings beginning in Kindergarten.
