February 14 News Preschool

Wow! The children certainly enjoyed receiving their valentines and treats. I hope you had fun looking at all of them together. They also enjoyed some tasty treats. Thank you to all the families that donated items for the party.

This week in preschool, the children decorated a heart using paint in a salad spinner. They enjoyed squeezing the paint and then spinning it. In their small group, they practiced number recognition and counting when Mrs. Fickel held up a number card and the children had to name the number and do a physical activity that many times (clapping, jumping, etc.). We also learned about the letter U and the sound it makes. The children practiced tracing the letter U.

Pleaser remember to let us know what your plans are for school next year whether they are attending school here or somewhere else. If your child will be returning next year, please be sure to return the registration form/census form that was sent home a couple of weeks ago along with the deposit- $50 for preschool and $150 for kindergarten.

We hope that you can join us Thursday, February 20th for an all school family dinner and open house from 5:30-7:30 p.m!

Also, please remember that there is NO SCHOOL next Monday and Tuesday, Feb. 17 and 18 for mid-winter break.

Stay warm!
