WOW! TOUGH CASE BUT THE JURY HAS DECIDED.

Today, the 6th grade “Legal Eagles,” had their day in court. The case was tough, the Prosecution Team and the Defense Team battled back and forth. Opening and Closing Arguments were to the point, pithy, and passionate. In the final decision, Max Paulsen was found Not guilty of “Reckless Driving” and Guilty of Careless Driving.Mr. Paul Kraus, father to Jacob and Kat, Prosecuting Attorney for Ottawa County, Corpus Christi Foundation member, and Corpus Christi Mock Trial Judge. joined us again this year – he assists the students through the Legal Process, supports our students, and shared his opinion of the trial and the skills of the students. But, more importantly, ~ he is always here when we need him. Thank you, Mr. Kraus.

Honorable Paul Kraus told Max Paulson, Alex, he should return in two weeks for sentencing.
