January 24, 2020 Preschool News- 3 year old class

Next week is Catholic Schools Week and the school has planned some fun activities to celebrate:

Tuesday: Patriotic Dress Day- wear the colors of the county you most identify with

Thursday: Future Job Dress up Day- dress up as what you want to be when you grow up

Saturday: Kindergarten/Preschool Winterfest Showcase- come in anytime between 10 a.m.-12 p.m. to visit classroom, do some activities, and visit with other preschool families (please park in the main parking lot)

In small groups in preschool this week, the children learned about the letter P and the sound it makes- they glued popcorn to a big letter P. They also played a following directions game of “In or Out”- they had to throw their bean bag into a hoop and declare if it landed in or out. We continued with the letter P by making penguins from cardboards tubes and reading some penguin stories.

And of course, they loved playing in the snow.
