Swimming is Complete!

The coaches and staff at the Aquatic Center were incredibly complimentary of your children and their consistent positive behavior, and appreciated the opportunity to work with them. Thank you for raising well-mannered, polite, and respectful children!

Christmas Program

The Christmas Program will take place on Tuesday, December 17 at St. Francis de Sales. Your child will need to be there at 6:00 pm and the program starts at 6:30 pm. A few of you have asked me if there is anything they are supposed to be reciting or practicing, but Ms. DeGraw (music teacher) said that everything is being prepared in Music class and that there are not any speaking roles this year as there have been in the past.

Atrium Update- From Mrs. Plackowski

In November, the first and second graders listened to the Parable of the Yeast (Matthew 13:33). We were able witness firsthand how the Kingdom of Heaven is like the yeast by mixing flour, yeast, and warm water together and watch how the mixture grows and expands. The children were asked to think about what God meant when He said that the Kingdom is like the yeast. We also explored the regions and waterways of Israel with a puzzle map.

With the start of Advent, we had a procession to prepare the prayer table for this new liturgical season with a purple tablecloth, advent wreath, and candles. We remembered what clues the prophet Isaiah shared with us about the gift that God will be sending (a great light Isaiah 9:1 and the names of the coming King Isaiah 9:5). We also heard from the prophet Micah revealing where the new King will be born.
